We have had a such a blessed Thanksgiving. My mother drove up from Louisiana to spend the week with us. It is visits like this that make me home sick. We are so lucky to have this chance to visit with her. I see so many families torn apart by such tragedy that it makes me really appreciate any time I get to spend with my family.
Today we have a full day planned. We are going to finish decorating for Christmas and then make bulla. Maybe I can finally figure out how to not kill the yeast.

Crazy Year
It has been a crazy year, but we have had lots of fun. Faith is here with us and I can't remember what it was like before her.
Richard is about done with his MBA and I am super excited about that!! I can't wait to have our evenings back. He has done real well and I am so proud of him.
This year we took all three kids to Disney World. We had the time of our lives. We are already planning the return trip.
Our other adventures this year included Dallas, Louisiana. Splash Country, and tent camping in the Smoky Mountains.

New Blog
This is the first post of my very first blog. I thought this would be a great way to share with my friends and family all the exciting things going on in our home. Please be forgiving of the grammar and spelling.
To start: Today we found out our home study is complete and we are official in Tenn. What this means is that we are one step closer to having Faith here. There are still a few steps to go. The paperwork needs to go from Knoxville to Nashville then to Baton Rouge and finally to Monroe. At that point we are hoping to be able to get Faith and bring her home. After that point parental rights will need to be terminated. Daniel has already signed the papers. Now we wait on Ashley. She is out of state and not willing to sign papers. This means the state has to bring the termination to a judge and have them sign off on it. That may take a few months. Thank goodness it looks like we can get her before then.
We are all ready. The room is painted and ready for our little girl.
